A DJ will play all your favourite songs, but there really is nothing like hearing them played by a professional live band.
Getting that wow factor
with blazing horn lines
, tight grooves
and amazing interaction between the musicians and the crowd is truly something to behold
We always tailor our sets to each wedding individually so you've got that personal touch and welcome requests (and vetoes) from our repertoire list
Of course in practical terms what this really means is that you don't ever have to have a song played that you don't like!
We've performed for a fair few Jewish weddings and are able to cater for everything from music during the ceremony, toasts at dinner, Israeli dancing through to the evening party. As part of our standard performance package, our format would usually consist of a 20 minute set for Israeli dancing before dinner and then up to 2 x 50 minute sets of our standard material later on in the evening.
Here are the songs that we perform in our Israeli dancing set:
Siman Tov Mazel Tov • Tzena Tzena • Hava Nagila • Shalom Alechem • Moshiach • Ose Chalom • Mayim Dance
We always have generic playlists on hand to put on during our breaks or before we start the performance. We have playlists for background and/or dancing - and we use a crossfade setting so there aren't any gaps.
You are also welcome to supply us with a spotify playlist beforehand (or an iPod) if you prefer.
If you’d rather have someone manning the controls during the breaks of the band and/or if you want to have more music for dancing after the band have finished, then you might want to consider adding a DJ to the booking.
We have several professionals on the books who are all very good at judging a crowd and finding a nice balance of songs that everyone can enjoy.
They'll also be in touch before the day to discuss the sort of music you like.
